On October 17, 2023, Bob Jones High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) demonstrated their commitment to community service by volunteering 55 cadets to assist with the Special Olympics held at Milton Frank Stadium in Huntsville, Alabama. This event, generously sponsored by BlueHalo, marked a significant milestone as it was the first comprehensive gathering of its kind since the pandemic.

Not only did the AFJROTC of Bob Jones High School attend, but also nearly every Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program in the North Alabama region rallied to contribute to the success of this meaningful occasion. This collective effort involved institutions such as Huntsville High School, Columbia High School, Athens High School, Madison County High School, James Clemens High School, and numerous others. The event also garnered support from additional organizations, including but not limited to the Key Club and HOSA.
