Last Saturday, February 3rd, JROTC cadets had the chance to participate in the annual Military Ball. In class 1st year cadets learned about dining etiquette and what is a Military Ball and utilized this new information during the 32nd annual Military Ball. Many of our recruiters attended the ball along with some of our administration and senior parents who were invited for the first time.
The event started off ceremonially with the posting of the colors performed by cadets Stephenson, Rivera, Di Gennaro and Dyer and the POW/MIA table performed by cadets Droege and Roberts. Then after dinner the King, Cadet Jackson, and Sweetheart, Cadet Halter, were announced followed by the roasting of our graduating seniors. Cadets enjoyed hearing and seeing funny stories and pictures of our seniors. After the retirement of the colors, the cadets spent no time getting out of their seats to dance to the songs they requested.
Overall the cadets had a great time with the 360 camera, delicious food, and the dance thanks to the Military Ball Committee. JROTC looks forward to continuing this special tradition next year in 2025.
