The cadets of Air Force JROTC at Bob Jones High School never back down from a challenge. On Saturday, 23 March, 12 cadets embarked on a journey to compete in a US Marine Regulation Obstacle Course in Tuscaloosa, AL, known as the Tuscaloosa Gauntlet!
This was a 5-mile race featuring over 20 obstacles, to include climbing a 25-foot cargo net “mountain”, jumping high-low beams, low crawling through muddy terrain, and ending in a mud ice-bath before finishing the race.
And finish the B-21 Raider teams did! All 3 teams finished, placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the JROTC wave of competitors.
