On January 20, 2025, Bob Jones AFJROTC cadets went to the Floyd E. “Tut” Fann State Veteran’s Home to play board games with its residents. Over 15 cadets attended the event and played games with the veterans, some of whom were new to the corps. The attending cadets participated in board games and talked to the veterans. All cadets and veterans were provided complimentary snacks by The American Legion Madison post #229.

 Bob Jones AFJROTC strives to serve our community, and that includes helping veterans. Thanks to the efforts of the event point of contact, C/Isaiah Simms, the first event of the semester went extremely well. It’s through events like these that our unit hopes to aid the community, and we hope to roll out more events like these in the near future.
