On February 13, 2025, The Kitty Hawk Honor Society, which is an academic honor society within certain Air Force and Space Force JROTC units, delivered candy to Bob Jones High School’s hard-working teachers. Cadets stockpiled candy for 2 weeks before packing them in cute Valentine cups for delivery. 

Teachers work extremely hard to teach and prepare students for the future, and the Kitty Hawk Honor Society wanted to show their appreciation in a sweet way. Kitty Hawk Honor Society Commander, Cadet Ava Zimmerman, said about the event, “We know how hard teachers work, and we really just want to show our teachers some love,” displaying the passion behind this event. All in all, the Kitty Hawk Honor Society did a great job with its first event of the year, especially with all the help from student volunteers.
