On Wednesday, 5 March 2025, Bob Jones AFJROTC traveled to Celtic Drive in Madison for a roadside cleanup immediately after school. Eighteen dedicated cadets showed up and were provided with trash grabbers, neon yellow vests, and gloves. Cadets braved the wind and cold to pick up trash along Celtic Drive and the MCS Central Office. Unfortunately, despite the work put into organizing the event, the cleanup was cut short by changing weather conditions when a wintery mix began to fall. 

The unit strives to help the community, and as event organizer C/Carson Drake said, “The community is as good as you make it.” Overall, although the event was shorter than expected, it was great and really represented what the unit is all about.
