Recently, the Bob Jones Air Force JROTC Archery Team competed at James Clemens High School. These cadets demonstrated focus and discipline and performed excellently, showcasing their archery skills from months of dedication and practice.
Archers spent many early mornings improving accuracy and strengthening mental focus. Because of multiple hours of practice, cadets improved and shot their personal best at this event, such as the following cadets: Vincent Franz-Colon, Hannah Barbre, Jonathan Wright, Carson Drake, Caleb Witherspoon, Sara Lockhart, Lanelle Marriam, Dylan Moudy, Payton Moudy, Kaydence Saintz, and Aiden Augustine.
Beyond individual personal records, several cadets stood out as the top shooters for this competition. Placed 2nd for Senior Class, C/ Vincent Franz-Colon shot 284 out of the maximum of 300 points. For the freshman class, C/Jonathan Wright ranked in 5th place, with 255 points, and C/Trenton Sharp ranked 6th place with 253 points.
