On Wednesday, October 31, the Bob Jones Volleyball team played in the state game. Three buses full of students arrived that morning to watch their fellow classmates compete.

Against their best efforts, Bob Jones lost the game, but according to Mr. Parker’s tweet that day, they came 7th in state and he said, “I wouldn’t trade them for any amount of championships.”

Rachel Shockey, a player on the team, said, “Being able to go to state is a huge honor. I am so proud of my team and how far we have come this season. People didn’t think we would make it this far, but we definitely proved them wrong.”

All of the students and teachers are very proud of the volleyball girl’s performance and wouldn’t change anything.
