Baseball is thought to be America’s favorite sport, and why shouldn’t it be?  There’s no better way to enjoy the springtime and work on your tan than cheering on the Bob Jones baseball team.

“I think we have a good opportunity this season, and we’ve worked really hard,” described Nathan Burch, a junior on the baseball team.

Although still early in the season, the team has been hard at work playing games and competing in tournaments.  The baseball team’s recent win against Grissom was a close 6 to 5 victory for Bob Jones.  “The game came down to the last inning, so it was really intense.  Grissom is a big rival,” Nathan Burch recalled.

Whether at a home or an away game, this excitement can be seen every week until the end of the school year.  As the weather warms up, remember to take yourself out to the ball game this spring and support the Bob Jones baseball team.

Today, the Bob Jones baseball team will host an event to support breast cancer awareness. Students will get in for only $1.
