The Bob Jones Patriots officially kicked off the regular season on Friday against the Northridge Jaguars. The Patriots were an offensive powerhouse and elicited tenacious defensive, defeating Northridge 48-20.
“I think we played great on both sides of the ball overall; not bad for the first game of the season, but there’s always room for improvement,” said senior running back Jay Rogers.
Senior quarterback Tyler Whalen passed for 207 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for a score to help the Patriots avenge their season-opening loss against the Jaguars.
