The Bob Jones football team has faced many critics this season. Most would be surprised that the Patriots have even made it to the third round of the playoffs, making it the second time in Bob Jones history that the Patriots have advanced to the third round.
Four years ago, Bob Jones advanced to the third round, but lost to Hoover, 34-24. Now, the Patriots must face off against Vestavia, another Birmingham suburb high school. The Patriots, however, are not worried about the match-up. “The pressure is on Vestavia, not us. This will be the biggest game ever played at Madison City Schools Stadium,” said Coach Kevin Rose.
Will Bob Jones make history and shock the world tonight? Will the Patriots finally get over their Birmingham Blues? Tonight at 7:00, go to the Madison City Schools Stadium to be a witness.
