Last Friday, the Bob Jones High School boys varsity basketball team competed at the regional playoff game against Bessemer City. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as Bob Jones students disembarked the buses to fill up the entire student section in the gymnasium. Principal Robby Parker and even the Madison City Schools superintendent, Dr. Dee Fowler, traveled to support the team. Although Bob Jones did not win, it was still an exciting game, as it was a nail-biter all the way until the very end, when we lost by only a three-point shot during the last minute.
