The Bob Jones wrestling team has been extremely successful this season at competitions and tournaments and is possibly one of the best in Bob Jones history. The team has recently placed first at the Predator region duals, making them the number one team in the 7A region 4 division. Bob Jones dominated rival school James Clemens at the dual winning 72-6. Bob Jones team scored 420 points overall in the dual and went 6-0, making them the back to back region 4 champs.

The varsity team consists of some real superstars, including senior Zaderian Toney, who earned the All-American honor last year. Toney had to beat several state champs to reach that level. This year’s team has shown its elite abilities by asserting its dominance over all of the teams in their division in the recent predator duals by only letting 35 points get scored on them by all 6 teams collectively.

The varsity team has several seniors who plan to wrestle in college, including senior Jordan Whalen who plans to attend Lander University as one of 10 signed recruits wrestling in the 141/149 weight class.

The wrestling team has had an exceptional season so far and do not have plans on slowing down. They will head to Florence this evening to take on Lawrence County, TN, James Clemens, and Florence. They have Senior Night tomorrow night at the State Quarter Finals match. Here are our senior wrestlers’ Celebrity Teachers:
