Our Indoor Track Team, coached by Brad Jefferson, participated in the Magic City Classic Track Meet at the Birmingham CrossPlex this past weekend.

The team consists of 9-12th graders and 7-8th graders. The coaches called this year’s team a beast because of how hard they’ve been practicing. The team practices every day from 3:45- 5:30pm. They also noted that team members are all dedicated, growing, and applying themselves to earn scholarships to college. 

Some of the track stars to note this year have great potential. Cosey Scarebrook competed in the High and Long Jump and ran the 4×200. Jordan Morrison competed in the 4×200, and 4×800. The top two girls are Arienna Coe, competing in the 4×400, 4×800. Essence Jackson competed in pole vault and 4×200.
