What a night for Bob Jones baseball!
Following a 6-1 win over Central-Phenix, our baseball team has the chance to become state champions today. Mississippi State commit Braden Booth had a fantastic game, pitching immaculately and hitting a no-doubter in the 3rd inning, which was instrumental in our eventual victory. Consequently, Central-Phenix’s best bat, Cam Norton, had a quiet night.
Central Phenix has lost only 4 games all season, and none since March. We just beat them by 5 runs. Game two of the series will begin at 4:00, and if our baseball team wins, they will be state champions for the first time in school history.
Go Patriots!
