Micayla Aycock, Writer
I’m Micayla Aycock, and I’m a senior at Bob Jones. I love art, especially jewelry and pastels. I, also, love fashion and just about any other creative activity that I can create something with my hands. Every summer, I go to John Campbell folk art school, because I love to continue to learn new art forms. I love music, and I played the saxophone for 5 years; I am no longer in the school band, though I still occasionally play at home. I love to read, and I even do a little writing. My goal is to get my doctorate in large animal veterinary medicine, and become a partner in a practice that treats both large and small animals. I would want to be the head of the large animal side of the practice. I love animals, and am currently planning to get certified to teach western horse back riding once I turn 18. I’m an artsy girly girl who doesn’t mind doing some work and getting dirty as long as I have fun in the process, or I’m doing something that I love.
