Planning on registering for the ACT or SAT? If you are, there is a new policy that requires students to attach a profile picture of them when registering. This new policy is a hindrance for some students. “Some students don’t have printer at home, or even internet access,” says Mrs. Roberts, who got the grant for the laser color printer in the TAP center.
TAP stands for “Take Action Program.” The TAP center is located in the old computer lab in the library. The TAP center is a place where students who are signing up for the ACT/SAT and can get a high quality picture taken to attach to their registration. Students can also register for the SAT and ACT with the help of Mrs. Simon and Mrs. Sargent, who are the TAP advisors.
Also, at the end of the month, Mrs. Simon and Mrs. Sargent will be helping seniors obtain pin numbers for submitting the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) information in February of 2013.
If you are taking the ACT/SAT this year, be sure to visit the TAP center to get your picture and help with registration, for free!
