Whether an Anglophile (a lover of British culture) or simply someone who loves traveling, any student interested in traveling abroad should look into the upcoming London Trip, June 5th – 11th of 2014.
English teacher Mrs. Dauma is taking students to sites of interest such as Stonehenge, Oxford, and Bath to learn the culture and history of the UK. Having previously taken students on a similar trip, Mrs. Dauma quoted a common proverb to describe the experience: “Travel is the only thing you spend money on that leaves you richer,” particularly when it comes to trips taken with classmates.
“I believe that traveling with classmates and friends is especially meaningful,” she said. “One of the greatest things about traveling through a student travel group is the insurance that is provided and the expertise of the tour guide that will be with us all day, every single day.”
For more information concerning the trip, see Mrs. Dauma in room C115. There will also be an informational meeting Thursday, January 24th, at 5:30 in the AV room.
