Mr. Johnston, observator of the recycling upkeep, has set up a recycling team to help save the world. Recycling bins have been set up all over the school so that Bob Jones might participate in helping the world one step at a time.
Although the efforts of this team are very exciting, some concerns have arisen with this recycling endeavor. “We have recycling bins at this school?” Emily Duncan asked about recycling. Another student, Sydney Delgadio, replied, “I didn’t know we had recycling bins at this school.”
When speaking with some of the leaders of the team, they found that it’s a well-organized (albeit not well-advertised) system. “We split up into two teams so that each team gets [the bins] other Wednesday,” Emily Montoya said. “The teachers really know more than the students, we used to send out reminders… but I don’t think we do anymore.”
The Recycling team at Bob Jones is doing a great job to save the world; if and when the word starts getting out, the whole school can join in.
