Handmade things seem to hold a value that regular market items don’t. They just have this air of old-fashioned hard work and quaintness that nobody can resist. The Air Force JROTC is giving everybody a chance to pick up some awesome handmade paracord survival bracelets really soon.
Over the years, the Bob Jones High School JROTC program has made it a tradition to craft and sell paracord bracelets to students and teachers, and it has been pretty successful so far. I am the POC (person of contact), and I have to say that it is really enjoyable to come out in the mornings to set up and make these bracelets.
Air Force JROTC students come out Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:15-8:00 a.m. to help make the paracord bracelets. By coming out to this event, the JROTC kids also receive fundraising hours and get closer to meeting the program’s fundraising goal. They aim to sell the paracord bracelets at Bob Jones the week before Christmas break.
You should definitely mark your calendars for the sale. Paracord bracelets can make really cool gifts, especially if you have a family member on active duty, or if you just want to be a good person and help out the JROTC.
