December is here again! If you want to get into the Christmas spirit, why not visit Santa’s Village, located in Huntsville, Alabama. From now to December 23, 2013, the doors will be open from 5pm to 9pm. The village will be showcasing Santa’s workers and reindeer, while offering the chance to part take in arts and crafts. If interested, stop by their webpage, http://www.earlyworks.com/santasvillage, to learn more information or to purchase tickets in advance. Debbie Collins highly recommends doing so, “I purchased online last year. It was so much easier than standing in line before the gates open.”
There are plenty of fun things to do at this work shop. Such as taking a stroll down The Magical Garden, take pictures with Santa, or build Christmas decor. Morgan Feltner describes her experience, “We did [the crafts] Wednesday night! Also, I had fun doing the scavenger hunt for a ‘Christmas Carol.’” Santa’s village also offers a chance to participate in cooking sessions or pet a reindeer. If that seems too busy, Santa’s village has the option of relaxing, sitting down and watching a movie or listening to musical entertainment. If you want to to check out a preview, stop by their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/SantasVillageHSV
If not for the reindeer, why not go visit to see some familiar face? Our Key Club and National Honor Society (NHS) sighed up to volunteer. “The kids were beaming with joy while working on the craft projects. They were really happy and in tune with the christmas spirit. It got me in the mood for the Christmas Holiday. I plan on going in my free time,” Rajani Kenea, who is in both clubs, states. Ms. Kenea and many other have given Santa’s Village a positive view, all saying it is a family event filled with fun Christmas activities.
So if you get the chance, head over to Santa’s village for a day of holiday cheer!
