Communicating in the technological age is said to be a dying art. However, senior Nkechi Nnorom has proven this thought wrong.
In charge of the Bob Jones Patriot Pages Twitter account, Nkechi has proven herself as a leader in social media journalism, gaining around 400 followers over the course of the school year. This feat prompted the aspiring journalist to win first place in interactive web element at the Alabama Scholastic Press Association’s Award Ceremony in February.
When not providing updates to the community via twitter, Nkechi is a leader in countless other activities. Nkechi acts as the Volunteer Coordinator for the National Honor Society and is an active member of the Alabama High School Democrats club where she recently attended a women’s rally and met with several democratic candidates including Parker Griffith.
