Have you ever thought of dancing the classic Jitterbug or Lindy Lop? Well, here’s your chance.

Friday, May 8th the Tri-M Honor Society will be sponsoring a Swing Dance to be held in the Bob Jones band room. No experience is required and lessons will be provided before the dance from 7-8 PM. The Rocket City Jazz Orchestra will be providing classic swing hits that are perfect to dance to.

The swing style of Jazz music influenced the entire evolution of music with its upbeat and wild tune, so come experience it first hand with this exciting in-demand band. All ages are welcome and admission is $5. The dance is open to the public and single-goers are encouraged to come also as no partners are required. Drinks and snacks will be provided with admission costs.

The party will be swingin’ from 8-10 PM and the Tri-M Honor Society wishes to see an abundance of students to help support their club.
