The Huntsville Havoc will be hosting a career workshop and networking event on Saturday, March 5th.  It’s from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m., and it costs $30.  It is a perfect opportunity for anyone who likes sports and business.

Marty Mulford of the Nashville Predators will also be there to present his new book on how to get a job in the sports industry. He will also lead a panel of industry professionals.

Cline Thompson, the director of ticket sales for the Huntsville Havoc said in an email that “we would love to have students who are interested in the sports industry to attend.”

Marketing is very important for sports teams to get people into the stadium. The moving of both the Huntsville Stars baseball team and the Tennessee Valley Vipers are prime examples of this.
