Homecoming 2017: Spirit Week

Whether it’s dressing up each day at school, attending the football game, or dancing the night away, Homecoming seems to be an essential part of our high school careers. From the numerous activities hosted on a day-to-day basis to the dance on Saturday, there is no doubt excitement and hype are in the air.
The Bob Jones Student Government Association has assembled an Oz-themed spirit week for this year’s Homecoming events. Here is a schedule for this week’s dress up days and additional events:
Monday, October 16:
Which Witch is Which? (Twin Day)
Tuesday, October 17:
Lions! and Tigers! and Bears! Oh my! (Dress as your favorite character day)
Wednesday, October 18:
Dreaming in Technicolor (Neon Day)
Thursday, October 19:
Dorothy’s travels
- 9th Grade – Australia
- 10th Grade – United States
- 11th Grade – Hawaii
- 12th Grade – Rome
*Parade Day: The parade begins at 5:00 pm and runs from Portal Ln. to Bob Jones.
Friday, October 20:
There’s no place like Homecoming! (Patriot Spirit Day)
*Football Game: The Football game begins at 7:00 pm at the Madison City Stadium. Bob Jones will face the Grissom Tigers.
