Mad Libs: Back to School
September 10, 2018
The following story has been written in part by the student at Bob Jones, who voted on the words in italics below. Enjoy!
The first day of school was sleepy. It all started when I missed the train that morning, and had to rush across the rainforest to get to school. I frolicked to my seat, and my first block teacher, Mrs. Panagos, came me a distracted look. I knew that I was already in trouble. She gave me twenty pterodactyls of homework, and then I was off to APUSH. There, I sat with my best friend Theodore, the president of band. He was the squishiest kid in school, and I wish I had his swagger. The teacher was a lot nicer, but I knew I would forget to sign the -92 forms they had given me as soon as I got home. No one paid much attention in my third block class, since that was our lunch block. I had 2nd lunch, and boy, was I goofy. The cafeteria served elephant sandwiches with keyboard fries, which was about as awkward as you would expect, and I sat with a group of extra Patriot Pages members. Not long after that was fourth block, and I got all turned around. Instead of going to Algebra II with Trig, I ended up on the marching band practice field! The janitor, Gary, was very introverted, and helped me on my way. When I got there, my fourth block teacher Mr. Raper was leading a name game, and without any time to think, I introduced myself as Gondola Gwen. Highly cheerful, I was eager to get home, but then, my limousine was late! I ended up staying up watching Hannah Montana all night, hoping that summer would come back very, very soon.
