What to Get Mom

Honestly, spending time with your mom might mean more to her than a gift. Watch something you both enjoy, or maybe even ask her to share one of her favorite movies with you. If the weather is nice, you could also suggest a walk on a nearby greenway or a bike ride around the neighborhood. Another idea would be to take something off her plate– do the dishes, wash her car, cook a meal, or help around the yard.

But… if you’re going to get her a gift, you don’t have to break the bank. You could get her flowers or maybe a dessert (or both if you want to go wild) with a quick stop at Publix. If your mom collects something, you could get the next item in her collection. You could also get her a “pampering gift,” like a nice smelling candle and scented hand lotion.

Hopefully, you’ll remember to make your mom feel appreciated, so remember– this Sunday is Mother’s Day.
