Did you know, the most commonplace to visit over spring break is Panama City, Florida? An article called “The Story Behind Spring Break” stated, “Panama City hosts more than 370,000 students each year.” Most students need a break by March because they’re tired.  Whether you’re going to the beach or not, most people are at least ready for a break from school. Our spring break is March 14th-18th.

Some people travel to the same place every year with their families. As an example, Senior, Gavin Mauldin, goes to Orange Beach on spring break with his family. Some spend their spring break visiting their families. Freshman Amy Jackson is going to New York to visit some of her relatives. Some students are going to travel in general for spring break.  Junior John Knight is traveling to Gatlinburg to snowboard for his time off.

Roughly 57 percent of Americans plan to travel for their Spring Break, though some people just prefer to stay in and relax with their time off, such as junior Jonathan Yang. Some people also haven’t really traveled much for Spring Break recently due to the pandemic, but this spring, airlines, hotels, and AirBnB are seeing increases in sales unlike anything in the past two years.
