Happy April Fools!
April 1, 2022
It’s April 1.
Today’s school announcements caught a few people off guard when students were addressed as James Clemens Jets. “I was literally wondering why they did that. It just now clicked in my head,” said senior Katie Steele.
In addition to school shenanigans, some corporations are also getting in on the fun. Alabama Credit Union posted a “cash dispensing app” for your phone. Rita’s Frozen Ice released a “cheesesteak gelato.” LEGO has released a lifesize lego. CareerBuilder posted a job for cat herding. “It’s good for promotion,” said Grace Jae.
Sometimes pranks backfire. The Economist said, “When firms’ April Fools’ Day efforts go wrong, the consequences are no joke.” It can also go wrong when you pull pranks on friends and family. If you’re pulling a prank today, remember to be considerate of others and keep it in good fun!
