Experience Cultures at the International Festival!

The Bob Jones International Festival is returning this month for the first time since the pandemic! Hosted by the World Language Department with involvement from the Culture Clubs, they are all very excited to be able to hold this festival again for the first time since early 2020. It will be held on January 24th at 6:30pm in the auditorium lobby with a variety of food, activities, performances, and more.

Come watch the French students do the can-can dance, or see a skit by the Latin department. Taekwondo Club will demonstrate their martial arts skills, and Korean Culture Club will perform a kpop dance medley. The Filipino-American Culture Club plans to sing the national anthem of the Philippines. The German kids plan to pair up to show off some talent, and Spanish will be presenting a variety of things, from dancing to singing to art.

The fashion show will include each department showcasing clothing native to their language culture. And, of course, come sample a variety of traditional foods from many cultures and languages, whether it be crepes, tacos, bread salad, Filipino foods, and so much more!

You can also enter to join the Talent and Fashion Showcase. If you have a traditional outfit you want to model, have a traditional instrument you wish to play, want to showcase a talent, or join a club in their festival endeavors, contact any of the World Languages or Culture Clubs.

Hope to see you at the festival!
