Meet Mrs. Walker!
At Bob Jones, she currently teaches 9th Grade Pre-AP English and Yearbook. She loves giving students the ability to write and create for audiences and exploring her students’ passions. She even has a reading blog for her classes so they are able to write so that others can see their work. She loves teaching Yearbook. Mrs. Walker is a graduate of Bob Jones, and during her senior year, she was an editor for Patriot Pages.
Prior to teaching at BJ, Mrs. Walker taught 9th-grade English at Athens High School and college freshmen at UAH.
In school, she loves to get involved with her students through deep discussions in class, getting involved with creative projects, and watching her students discover what they love to do. Having a balance between home and school is very important to Mrs. Walker. Outside of school, Mrs. Walker loves to spend time with her family. She also loves photography, coffee shops, and mountain biking. In addition to these, she also loves to travel, especially with her husband and her dog Bowie. In all, Mrs. Walker is a teacher who loves to get involved with her community.
Her room is in the downstairs C hallway.
