Bob Jones Indoor Drumline: The Emerald City

The Bob Jones Drumline (BJD) season is underway! Their first competition in the SCGC circuit was on Saturday, February 3rd at Mt. Juliet High School, but there are several opportunities this spring to catch the show.

The 2024 BJD show is titled “The Emerald City” and is based on The Wizard of Oz. With themed staging, uniforms, and music straight from the movie/book, you are going to love this! Even if you do not know anything about The Wizard of Oz, you will still be able to enjoy this amazing show. Here’s what members of the BJD have to say about the show:

“I’m incredibly excited for the show this year. In my 4 years at Bob Jones, I’ve seen a lot of progression within the drumline as a whole, and we all are leagues better than my freshman year. I’m excited about the show theme as well. I love the portrayal of The Emerald City from The Wizard of Oz. I can’t wait until we finally perform it at Mt. Juliet,” said Vanya Golos.

Luke Walton shared, “With a creative theme and a good head start, I think this year’s show will be very successful and one to remember.”

I completely agree and think that this show is going to be great. See you there!
