Finding suitable gifts for people can be a long and expensive process, especially if you don’t want them to know that you’re planning to give them a gift. Many people overthink what to get and end up not getting anything at all.
According to a survey of 45 people, 11.1% would want a Bath & Body Works gift basket, 17.8% would want Beats headphones, 17.8% would want food or candy, and 26.7% would want a new iPad. The remaining 26.6% selected other gifts, ranging from transportation to new gaming sets—and even world peace!
Most teenagers, however, would be fine with a simple gesture like a hug or a compliment.
If your budget is $15, here are some gift ideas:
- A small stuffed animal, paired with candy.
- A six-piece wing combo from Wingstop, which is really popular.
- A few small bags of candy, placed in a small, inexpensive basket.
If your budget is $25, your options expand:
- A Bath & Body Works perfume and matching lotion set.
- A family meal from Popeyes.
- Simply giving them $25 in cash.
You shouldn’t be afraid to give gifts to people. According to the survey, when asked the question, “If you were to get a gift from a random person, how would you feel?” 67% of respondents chose the “Thank you” option. Additionally, 24% said they would be slightly confused or hesitant but would still accept the gift.
Realistically, most people would be thankful to receive a gift, regardless of its price or size. It’s not about how much you spend but about the gesture and showing your appreciation. Price doesn’t dictate how important a person is to you—the thought and effort behind the gift truly matter.
