Prom, when and how is it happening? Prom this year is in the same spot it was last year, Stovehouse. If you’ve never heard of Stoehouse, it’s a venue area close to downtown Huntsville. It’s about a 15-20 minute drive from Bob Jones to the venue. Inside this venue, our prom will be in the Royal and Belle Ballrooms. Inside Stovehouse, there are multiple food options: fried chicken, crepes, Chinese food, ramen, BBQ, milkshakes, Mediterranean, southern food, and tacos. Giving an option for food, without having to go somewhere else for food.
The prom will be from 8 – 11 pm on April 11, 2026. This falls on the weekend after April’s ACT that Wednesday. But prom does not give an excuse to do badly on the ACT, though many probably will.
The tickets are $55.00 for singles and $105.00 for couples. This means you could save $5 for a couple’s ticket instead of 2 single tickets. To purchase these tickets, you can go to the Bob Jones fee payment website, which is on the MCS Bookmarks, then go to the STORE SECTION, not the school fees. These online tickets are due on April 2, 2026. If you are bringing a student from another school, you must fill out the form with the QR code when purchasing tickets.
These tickets are going to be distributed on Monday, April 6, during Patriot Prep outside of the fee payment office. This office is right across the career center. Or the wall of windows on the second floor by the N Hall. If you have dual enrollment or co-op during the day, you can grab their tickets from Mrs. Murray in room C113.
If you have not seen it yet, this year’s theme is Masquerade Ball. And with this, people will want to wear masks. You can wear a mask, but you will have to put it on after you check in at the ticket table. This ensures the safety of students and staff. If you do not bring a mask, they will have hand-held masks for students to use during the event.
