On 10 September 2025, the Bob Jones AFJROTC Blue Knights attended the Academy for Chapter Excellence conference in Birmingham, AL. AFJROTC arrived at approximately 0830 and joined 8 other Career and Technical Student Organizations from across the state. 

Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) are programs designed for communication and time management, social media usage and recruitment, engaging members and running events, and developing leadership techniques and empowering officers and members. These include programs such as HOSA, FBLA, FCCLA, DECA, TSA, and last but not least, all branches of JROTC.

After the academies, the conference held different lectures, including one on influential public speaking. Over 20 cadets from our Unit, with differing leadership experiences, had an informative, motivating, and encouraging experience and learned many qualities needed in a worker and a leader. Overall this was a very successful day and educational experience for all.
