Recently, the Bob Jones AFJROTC drill team competed in the Hoover High School Annual Drill Competition. The drill team swept the competition placing in all events except one, which culminated in the team earning the Grand Champion title. Additionally, several of the team commanders received personal awards for their outstanding leadership. 

Placing for each event:

1st – Unarmed Flight Drill

2nd – Armed Flight Drill

1st – Unarmed Squad

2nd – Armed Squad

2nd – Unarmed Color Guard

1st – Unarmed New Cadet Squad

The following individuals won Commander trophies:

1st place – Audrey Groger/Unarmed Flight

2nd place – Lucy Halter/Armed Flight

2nd place – Logan Jackson/Unarmed Squad

2nd place – Cate Curry/Armed Squad

The Blue Knights finished as Grand Champions of the Drill Competition.
