Drama teacher Mr. Craft based this original comedy on his family, but its subtitle suggests that there were probably some creative liberties taken: “a series of misremembered events told by distant family members.” The student director is senior Melody Brady.

Stage manager Julia Wilhide described the play as being about “two sisters who keep a scrapbook of ugly brides out of bitterness, but when one sister becomes engaged, drama ensues.”

The two sisters are played by juniors Maelee Hamlett and Alia McGee, and their younger brother is played by both Marcello Mancusi and Nate Bryan, both sophomores. The fiance is played by sophomore Steven Rogers.

Though the set is colorful, all the costumes are grayscale, and it creates an interesting 1950s aesthetic.
