May is Mental Health Month

Even though conditions seem to be ideal for happiness right now– the sun is out, COVID numbers are low, and school is almost out– some people still struggle with mental health issues. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Patriot Pages explored this topic with a few PSAs and an infographic.

So what can you do? Sometimes checking in with your friends is enough. Despite what is shown in this video, it’s not always black and white how somebody is feeling. Not checking in on people can lead to somebody getting hurt or much worse. Check in with your friends and let them know that it’s ok to talk about what’s bothering them and to get help.
